FAQs
- Temporary irritation, tightness, or redness may occur, which are normal reactions and usually subside within 72 hours, depending on skin sensitivity.
- You may feel tingling or a slight stinging sensation during the treatment, but these sensations typically fade within three hours of treatment.
- Client experiences may vary. Some may notice a delayed onset of the above-mentioned reactions. If you experience any unusual side effects or if symptoms persist or worsen, please contact us immediately.
SkinPen is clinically proven to be effective for both women and men of all Fitzpatrick Skin Types I – VI. Unlike lasers or chemical peels, which can cause long-term skin damage, SkinPen treatments, when performed under professional guidance and properly spaced, are safe for long-term use.
SkinPen® is not recommended for individuals with:
- active skin cancer in the treatment area(s)
- open wounds, sores, or irritated skin in the treatment area(s)
- an allergy to stainless steel or anesthetics
- a bleeding disorder, those who are pregnant or nursing
- those currently using medications containing isotretinoin (such as Accutane)
