Cryotherapy
A Cryosauna is an open-top tube with a door and an elevator for positioning. It is only configured for one person at a time. The head is outside the tube. The cryosauna runs on liquid nitrogen and exposes your body to a higher “positive” stress making the effect of the session more pronounced than a cryo chamber. A treatment is between 1.5 to 3 minutes.
What to expect:
● You need to remove jewelry; You may leave on earrings

FAQs
If you are just starting your cryotherapy journey, it is better to get in a cryosauna 2-3 times per week for about 3 weeks to give your body time to get used to the extreme cold temperatures.
What common conditions can be treated with whole body cryotherapy (WBC)?
● Chronic Pain – Helps manage pain from conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lower back pain
● Inflammation – Reduces inflammation associated with conditions like tendonitis or sports injuries
● Joint Disorders – Aids in managing symptoms of joint pain and stiffness
● Skin Conditions – Can help improve conditions like psoriasis and eczema by reducing inflammation
● Sleep Disorders – May support better sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing pain
● Recovery from Surgery or Injury – Accelerates healing by improving circulation and reducing swelling
While WBC is beneficial for these conditions, it’s important to consult a healthcare provider before starting any new treatments.
WBC may help alleviate some symptoms of chronic fatigue, though research is still ongoing. Some studies suggest that WBC could reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and enhance recovery, which might help with the fatigue and muscle soreness commonly experienced by individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Additionally, WBC may support the autonomic nervous system, which can be dysregulated in CFS. However, more research is needed to fully understand its effectiveness and long-term benefits for those with chronic fatigue.
● Boosts collagen production which is an essential protein that keeps the skin firm, plump and elastic
● Reduces pore size
● Reduces puffiness results from improved lymphatic drainage, which also helps remove extra fluid and toxins from the skin
● Enhances blood circulation which feeds skin cells oxygen and vital nutrients, improving tone and giving a healthy glow
Many Sports organizations use cryotherapy for treating trauma immediately after matches and for longer periods or recovery and rehabilitation between matches and even seasons. The main benefi t for using cryotherapy for sports injuries is the reduced recovery time.
● Whole body cryotherapy before a workout is widely used by athletes to improve their flexibility, range of motion, blood and oxygen.
● It is used after workouts to recover faster or to treat an injury.
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) may aid in muscle recovery and reduce muscle damage following exercise. The cold temperatures help reduce inflammation, alleviate soreness, and minimize tissue damage by constricting blood vessels. Once the body warms up, improved circulation helps flush out metabolic waste and deliver fresh oxygen and nutrients, supporting muscle repair and reducing recovery time. Ongoing research continues to explore its effectiveness for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS).
● A cryosauna is a single person cryotherapy device where your head is out of the cold zone (outside the top of the chamber) and reaches a temperature down to -274º F.
● A cryotherapy chamber is a closed space where several people can be treated at the same time. The temperature reaches not more than 184º C.
